3. If I had to do a senior project this year, I'd probably think about doing something with art,

3. my topic: I am going to be helping Jack Yankee find a bone marrow donor, which will be a task since he has a very rare auto immune disorder and also has blood cancer. He is approximately 1 of 30 cases in the WORLD. The national registry for bone marrow donors did not find him a match, so it will be my goal to do so.
4. my mentor is going to be this woman named Francis from Be The Match a fouundation that is made for bone marrow donors.
5. I will be doing drives to have anyone from the ages of 18-44 tested and have fundraisers to help pay for each test as they are begin to add up.

DeleteHey Diego. You have some fun ideas for your senior project and I think either of them would be great. If you do build a computer, maybe it could be on if it is better for a teen/student to build their own computer than to buy one from the store. You could talk about the cost and how it lasts in the long term.

DeleteHello! My name is Sofia Sanchez, I am in your 4th period class. I consider myself a kinetic, visual, creative and verbal learner. My senior topic includes investigating the death rates of the Bouverie Preserve Animals that cross the Sonoma route 12. My mentor is a family friend that has worked with Muir Woods National Monument along with other National Parks in San Francisco. My activity will be to annotate the percentage of dead animals by tracking them with a "Camera Trap" or "Trail Camera" that will be on for 24 hours a week. I will also be creating a "slow down" animal sign in order to decrease animal casualties.

I don't really have a set topic of what my senior project will be, but I've worked with the districts maintenance crew so maybe working with them and building something for a school.. If not do something with soccer I don't know... If I do something with the maintenance crew I was thinking my mentor could be the Manger of Operations or If i decide to go with soccer my mentor could be a soccer coach. My activity would either be building whatever it is I will be doing or teaching the youngsters how to play soccer.

I am going to help out with the Dunbar play this year and help out the teachers direct the play, help the kids learn lines, and then write my research paper on development of young children. 4. The girl who directs the Dunbar play every year. If she cant/does not want to, there are plenty of teachers I could work with that help out with the play.

For my senior project i have two ideas in mind, one is working with the maintenance crew to organize the building of a new building at an elementary school. My second option is going around the elementary school and see what different teaching Technics they use.
For my mentor i would like to have one of the manager of operations and if i do my second option i would like to have one pf the teachers from Flowery school
My activity would be the building of the project with the maintenance crew or visiting different classroom of the elemantary schools.

my idea for my senior project is to swap a automatic transmission to a 6 speed trans on a e E36 M3 BMW
my mentor has his own shop which he is allowing me to work out of and help me with the swap.
The point of my project is to learn how to change the transmission on these sport cars but also to not let this car end up in a junk yard or waste plant polluting the environment
